Colon hydrotherapy prep FAQs

What should I eat before a colon hydrotherapy session?

For 12–24 hours before your HealL colonic, avoid alcohol, pasta, potatoes, rice, beans, bread, and sweets. Three to four hours before (eight hours if your session includes saliva and stool analysis), dry fast — no food or fluids except optional hot herbal tea.

Is prep different for an analysis session?

The food list is the same. Analysis sessions need the longer dry fast — eight hours instead of three to four.

Can I drink water before a colonic?

Sip water only if necessary in the final dry-fast window. Prefer hot herbal tea without caffeine. Follow the timing on this page for your session type.
